Press Release: Chester Borough Strengthens Planning Efforts with Highlands Plan Conformance - (7/21/2016) The Highlands Council has approved a Petition for Plan Conformance from the Borough of Chester in Morris County. The Borough is located entirely in the Planning Area of the Highlands Region, where conformance with the Highlands Regional Master Plan is entirely voluntary. (read)

Highlands Council 2016 Land Preservation Status Report Released - (7/20/2016) The Highlands Council has released a report providing data related to preserved land and potentially developable land throughout the Highlands Region. Data was collected through December 2015. (read)

Highlands Council 2015 Annual Report Now Available - (4/20/2016) The Highlands Council has released its 2015 Annual Report. The report provides a historical perspective on activities with an emphasis on progress during the last calendar year toward achieving the goals of the Highlands Act and Regional Master Plan. (read)
